DR. JOSÉ ANTONIO DIESTE

WP1 Leader

José Antonio Dieste has linked his professional and research life to the Aitiip Foundation since 2000 to date. During this long career he has evolved, passing through different responsibilities, ranging from product and process engineer, to head of the Technical Office, to the current position of Head of Robotics, mechatronics and advanced processes. He is currently leading the research lines related to areas such as robotics, additive manufacturing and manufacturing processes linked to factories of the future and industry 4.0.

After obtaining his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2016, he has extended his participation in the role of Principal Investigator and coordinator of several large European projects, mainly in the areas described above.

DR. ALEJANDRO MARQUÉS PAOLA

WP1 Participant

Alejandro Marqués has been working at Aitiip since 2018 as a design engineer. During his career he has specialized in the design and manufacture of toolings and machinery for the aeronautical industry. In addition, Alejandro has participated in several European projects, focused on various topics, such as those focused on the aeronautical industry and the recycling and reuse of composite materials.

In parallel, Alejandro is currently working on his PhD, which focuses on the manufacture of large metal structures using additive manufacturing processes, specifically Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing.

Eng. ALBERTO LAGUÍA

WP1 Participant

Alberto Laguía has been linked with Aitiip since 2017. Mechanical Engineer with a Master in Mechanical Engineering. Expert in additive manufacturing and new materials. He is currently doing his PhD, focused on the metallic and non-metallic large component additive manufacturing. He is currently working in the Research and Development area of Aitiip Centro Tecnológico (Zaragoza, Spain) in the Advanced Manufacturing Process lines focused on hybrid additive manufacturing combining metal and thermoset polymers. He is currently working as executor on European projects: EOLO (HORIZON2020), ACROBA (HORIZON2020).

Eng. RAQUEL NAVARRO

WP1 Participant

Industrial Design Engineering professional with expertise in additive manufacturing technologies and the development of sustainable materials. Current activities include doctoral research focused on advancing innovation in these areas. Additional involvement in projects aligned with the New European Bauhaus, emphasizing sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity in design and manufacturing. Work is oriented toward creating innovative solutions that address societal and environmental challenges.
